Siesta, under a tree and deafened by the sound of cicadas, a key-cutter sleeps on a scooter in perfect equilibrium, head on the saddle and legs stretched over the handlebars. Briefcases and heels flow in and out of a subway entrance. Two friends meet at a corner then continue to their destinations. A drunk sound asleep on a patch of grass. There is no sidewalk.<\/p>\n<p>Pavement, curbs, holes, bricks, tiles, stones, weeds, dust, asphalt, meetings, steps, fear, bus stops, lights, signs, chairs, stalls, windows&#8230;\u00a0 Veredas, Trottoirs\u2026Sidewalks.<\/p>\n<p>If anything, Sidewalks is a productive provocation, and an interesting starting point for exploring ideas that are central to our project, and that we continue to explore. Below are some of our starting points.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008080;\">\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 Veredas?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>El sonido de nuestros pasos. 3am, una mujer hurga los tachos de basura de una comunidad en b\u00fasqueda de pl\u00e1sticos y cartones. Siesta, bajo un \u00e1rbol y aturdido por el canto de las chicharras, un cerrajero duerme sobre su moto esc\u00fater en perfecto equilibrio, la cabeza sobre el asiento y las piernas estiradas sobre el manubrio. Portafolios y tacones que entran y salen de la estaci\u00f3n del metro. Dos amigas se encuentran en una esquina y luego contin\u00faan cada uno a su rumbo. Un borracho duerme tirado en el pasto.
